Circa 1840 row of 3 small 2 bay houses on corner with Vyse Street. Red brick
with stucco plinth and first floor sill band, frieze on egg and dart string
returned for one bay to Vyse Street. Half hipped slate roof with flat eaves.
Revealed 3 x 4 pane sashes with scrolled acanthus leaf consoles flanking stucco
heads, moulded cornices and blocking courses, stucco sills. No 6 has one window
only on each floor. Modern casement inserted to ground floor of No 2. Ionic
column doorways with deep entablatures, coupled to Nos 4 and 6. Four panel doors,
with marginal glazed rectangular fanlights, approached by 2 stone steps. The
columns have moulded bases on plinths.
