Description


HAGLEY ROAD 1. 5104 (north side) Edgbaston B16 Nos 405, 407 and 409 SP 08 NW 6/23 II GV 2. C1855. Group of 3 detached identical villas linked by single storeyed gig houses. Each villa 2 storeyed, stuccoed, with slate roof with flat eaves on console brackets, roundels to frieze. Plinth; rusticated quoins. Ground floor with pilastered canted bay windows with the entablature continued over the entrance bay where it is supported by 2 engaged Corinthian columns flanking the round headed doorway. Impost string passing behind the columns and returned to doorhead supporting an archivolt over the fanlight. First floor with architrave surround with console brackets supporting pediments.
