GV II

House, originally two houses. C17 and early C18, converted as one dwelling
c.1920. Pebbledash walls, painted brick on left side, asbestos tile roof, brick
stacks. House to left, early C18. 2 storeys and attic; 2 bays. Windows with
painted stone lintels with keyblocks on both floors, all with C20 casements. C20
dormers. Steeply pitched roof with coped gables and flanking stacks. House to
rigfit, probably C17. 2 storeys with 2 gabled bays. Ground floor windows with
wood lintels and C20 sashes. First-floor windows with wood lintels and C20
casements. C20 two-storey timber porch on right side and doorway with pebbledash
surround and plank door. C20 extensions at rear. Interior: remodelled C20.
Chamfered spine beam in ground flDor room in left hand house. Included for group
value.
