adjoining barn (formerly

Farmhouse with adjoining barn. Late C17, extensively remodelled during
C18, C20 alterations and additions. Sandstone rubble with Welsh slate
roof. Irregular plan with main house now forming L-plan with east front
facing foldyard and further entrance front to south; axial stacks; barn
extends to east adjoining at north end of house. Two storeys. South front:
three C20 aluminium framed windows, right of centre C20 gabled porch with
C20 panelled door. East front with altered openings, four C20 windows,
gabled porch to right end with ledged inner door. Barn adjoining to right
is of five bays with central threshing floor, loft to left, inclined strut
trusses. Interior: altered but retains fine framed newel staircase with
twisted balusters.
