  • St Mary: early c14 in many parts, Perpendicular c15 rebuilding (records give date of 1459 for nave & 1481 for south aisle); Decorated windows in chancel

  • St Mary: west tower with diagonal buttresses, parapet & crocketed pinnacles; flushwork panelling on battlements

  • St Mary: nave looking east towards c14 chancel (weeping slightly to south) & east gable window

  • St Mary: c15 screen depicting Walstan of Bawburgh (scythe & calves) & St Thomas of Canterbury

  • St Mary: c.1480 screen depicting a Danse Macabre scene; skeleton rises from tomb inside a church & two corpses, a woman carrying posy of summer flowers and a man with a burning torch
