Cottage. Late C17/early C18, refronted and eaves raised c.1840. Render over
clay lump and timber frame with wattle and daub infill; part of rear wall
rebuilt in mid C19 brick; gabled pantile roof; brick right end stack. 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. C18 plank door, 3 mid C19 sixteen-pane
sashes and C20 three-light casement to left of door. Small C20 extension
to rear. Mid C19 bakehouse to left, of render over clay lump and brick with
gabled pantile roof, C20 door and 18-pane fixed-light casement with one opening
pane. Interior: exposed timber frame with wattle and daub infill; stop-
chamfered beam in room to right; bay to left has C18 plank door set in mud
and stud partition, and C18 plank door to C19 winder stairs; 2-bay roof with
queen-post truss. Included for group value only.
