Monument. Circa 1850. Red and purple fired bricks with stone
string and base. Pedestal with moulded base and cornice and
rendered panel on each side, the North side with inserted stone
inscription tablet. Tall brick obelisk above with bullnose string
at base. Situated on a hilltop on Blakeshall Common.

NOTE: Richard Baxter (1615-1691), the Presbyterian divine, lived
in Kidderminster from 1641 and finally left in 1661.
