Cottage. Probably C18, refurbished in late C19. Plastered cob and rubble; rubble
stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; thatched roof to main house, pantiles to
outshot. 2-room cottage with central staircase plan facing east with possibly
secondary continuous rear outshot. Axial stack serving left (south) room and large
lateral stack to right (northern) room, presumably the original kitchen. Unbalanced
2-window front in centre and right end comprising late C19 casements. Central
doorway and late C19 porch with eliptical outer arch and ornamental trelliswork
surround, monopitch roof and sides replaced with C20 corrugated iron. Roof is
hipped each end. Late C19 4-pane sash in right (north) end, facing road.
Interior shows only late C19 plasterwork.
