Cottage. 1847 by F. O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company: later alterations. Rendered random rubble walls: slate
roof. Three rooms wide, slightly projecting centre, single room
deep, rear wings each side, single storey. Plinth, half-glazed
front door up one step: narrow window each side in centre, dumb-
bell ventilator in gable over. Two-light window in each wing in
original opening, all windows mid-late C20 iron. Hipped roof,
chimneys on ends and centre rear. Part of Chartist settlement,
listed principally for historical and sociological reasons.
