Cottage. 1848 by F.O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company: later alterations. Rendered walls, slate roof. Three-
room front, one room deep, single storey leanto to rear. Front to
road: plinth, stepped, rendered voussoirs to each opening.
Centre room projects slightly, central, half-glazed C20 door up
step: sill, single-pane window each side. Plain string course to
foot of gable, single oversailing course to verge, verge rafters on
consoles at foot: quatrefoil vent in gable. Two-light mid C20
casements in wings. Gable chimneys slighty corbelled out; third
chimney on right side of central gable. Listed principally for
historical and sociological interest. Forms group with other
Chartist and other buildings in Ledbury Road, (q.v.): originally
with 2 acre holding.
