SO 72 SE TIBBERTON TIBBERTON VILLAGE

8/263 The Laurels

House: early C19, altered mid-late C19. Plain render to front,
lined as ashlar, Sussex bond brickwork; tiled roof. Three-
window, probably 2 room deep, 2 storevs and attics. Six-panel
front door off-centre to left, covered single-storey gabled timber
porch, rendered base: half-glazed sides, 6-panel door up one stone
step, sidelights, boarded gable over, framing exposed bottom half,
fishscale boarding upper. Either side sash window, with wide-
splay cement-rendered lintels, lined as voussoirs. Two similar 9-
pane sashes first floor. Brick gable chimneys on ridge. Left
return, further open, gabled timber porch: sash window to left.
Lean-to projects on left, from gable of single storey Lean-to added
to back of house. First floor 2-light casement with rubbed brick
arch on left, 2-light casement with leaded lights and cambered
brick arch in gable.
