Former house, now restaurant; possibly C17, altered early C19;
rendered facade, tiled roof. Three-window wide to street, long
plan down site. Plinth, cut flat-headed opening to cellar on
left. 6-panel front door up 2 steps, planted fielding to upper
panels, flush below: 3-pane rectangular fanlight, reeded surround.
Left 3-light window, right 16-pane window, top quarter scuttle:
moulded surround. Plain, rendered band to first floor: 2-light
casement windows. Brick chimney projects at left end, carried up
above eaves. Right-hand ridge same height as that to rear wing,
left front lower. Rear timber-framed roof taken off last bay and
flat roof forded at eaves level.
Interior not inspected. Groups with buildings in Broad Street,
(q.v.).
