(This building is continuous with No 25 Nelson Road).
1829 by Joseph Kay. 3 storeys and attic, 4 windows (with another window in rounded
angle to Nelson Road). Slated mansard roof with 3 round arched dormers. Stucco.
Entablature and blocking course supported on 4 giant pilasters, one at either
side of outer bays. Wreaths in frieze above pilasters. 1st floor cill band.
Moulded architraves to sash windows with glazing bars, the outer ones on 2nd
floor segment headed. 1st floor windows have frieze and cornices and open to
full width wrought iron balcony resting on cornice of late C19 shop front also
with rounded angle to Nelson Road. Plain reveals to upper windows of angle,
also sashes with glazing bars.

No 19 forms a group with Nos 15 to 25 (consec) Nelson Road.
