Late Cl9 building of red brick with stone dressings. High pitched tiled roof. Nave,
aisles and transepts and porch projection. At North-West end vestry and chapel
with apsidal end. Projecting south-east porch. Octagonal angle turrets at west
end of. nave. Early English style with lancers in varying groups. Main west window
of lancets interspersed and flanked by blank arches with colonnettes. 3 ranks of
nook shafts, with moulded arches, to west door. Manse, adjoining to north, of
2 storeys and basement, 4 windows. Tall proportions. Red brick with stone dressings
and high pitched tiled roof, 2 right bay under gables. Stone mullioned and transomed
windows with shouldered heads, those on 1st floor corbelled out. Double door with
wrought iron hinges under pointed arch.
