1866-73 by S S Teulon. A robust composition dominating the wide road junction.
Brick and stone with tiled roofs. Romanesque. Thorne says that the church
is actually a recasing of the church of 1739. Austere interior with galleries
on 3 sides. Open timber roof supported on iron columns. C18 and C19 wall
tablets retained, also brass of circa 1490.
