The Firs and Acacia House.

Pair of early C19 houses. Two storeys. Two windows each. Painted stucco. Parapet to pair of hipped and slated roofs which have been turnerized. Acacia House has 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 sash windows of an early C19 design to the first floor; French doors to ground floor of full-height canted bay in right-window range also of original design. The bay with dentil cornice. The door to left, set-back range has been altered; it is set under a gabled hood.

The Firs also has a full-height canted bay at right; entrance to left range set back and under a wood lattice porch; above a rectangular bay. At the time of its addition to the list, Acacia House had two original marble fireplace surrounds.

Glenthorne, Perryfield, Grenedehar, The Firs, Acacia House, Highfield Cottage and
former Magnolia House form a group.
