Early-mid C19 terrace, each three-storeys and basement, two windows. Stucco with
incised lines. Banded rusticated around floor. Above first floor cill band are
paired pilasters, Tuscan on first floor and panelled above, to cornice and blocking
course. Sash windows with glazing bars in moulded architraves. No 155 has a
patterned cast iron balcony at left of first floor and window guards on ground
floor. No 161 has patterned cast iron balcony to both first floor windows. Masks
on key blocks of ground floor windows. Doors of four fielded and two beaded panels
under plain fanlights, the outer ones oblong and with console bracketed cornice
hoods.
