Detached house. 1899. Designed by Edmund W Wimperis. Red brick. Tiled pitched
roof behind gables. 3 bays. 2 storeys plus roof storey. 2 outer bays with shaped
gables. Central entrance in segmental headed recess with projecting timber canted
porch with pilastered doorway within segmental tympanum above flat roofed canted
timber bay to right. Canted bay also to left, pitched roofed. Upper storey with
Ionic rubbed brick pilasters rising into gables to moulded cornice. Square headed
sashed windows. Some glazing bars. Roof storey windows in gables with inset Ipswich
motifs. Moulded parapet. Central square headed dormer. Returns similar.
