House. C17 with mid-C19 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed with some replacement timbers, painted brick infill, brick replace-
ment walling, thatched roof. Three framed bays aligned north/south with
inserted chimney to north of central bay forming a lobby entry, and also
an external chimney at the south gable end, now truncated; single storey
and attic with dormers. Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall-
plate, long straight braces in lower and upper corners, collar and tie-beam
trusses with two struts to collar. West front elevation: irregular fenestra-
tion; two 3-light casements, one with a plank weathering and one 2-light case-
ment; central gabled dormer with 2-light casement and plain tiles replacing
thatch at junction with main roof; half-glazed door to left of central bay.
Interior not inspected. Two C20 lean-to extensions adjoin outer bays at
rear.
