House. c1820 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Brick with ashlar
dressings; shallow-pitched hipped Welsh slate roof with broad eaves and
rebuilt stacks at rear. Three storeys and cellar. Three bays; windows
have stepped rusticated voussoirs and stone sills; outer bays have ground
and first floor 16-pane sashes and second floor 8-pane sashes; central bay
has a first floor 12-pane sash and a second floor 6-pane sash; central
entrance has a moulded flat canopy on chamfered timber posts, is flanked
by fluted pilasters and has a door with five raised and fielded panels,
panelled reveals and a traceried fanlight. Interior: central hall has
an open well staircase. C20 single storey additions to side elevations
and also lean-to addition at rear.
