Shown on OS map as Vicarage.
Vicarage, now house. Late C18 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Brick,
stuccoed to side elevations, part-hipped plain tiled roof with large stacks
at each side. Three storeys and cellar with prominent moulded cornice to
front and dentilled eaves cornice at rear. Five bays; central bay is wider
and breaks forward; windows all have gauged flat heads; ground and first floor
windows are 12-pane sashes; second floor windows are 6-pane sashes; central
entrance has tall doorcase with moulded cornice, entablature and pilastered
surround, half-glazed door, traceried fanlight and reveals and soffit with
raised and fielded panels. Interior: some original ceiling mouldings and
doors, doorheads are C20 additions. Central hall has open well staircase
with moulded wreathed handrail. C19 additions at rear include a kitchen
with original fittings (VCH 3 (ii), p 442).
