Farmhouse. Early C17, extended late C17 with some mid-C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill on a rubble plinth with
machine-tile roof. L-plan with limbs extending to south and west. Main stack
on north gable of former range of rubble with brick shaft. The north/south
range was two bays long, extended by one bay to south. East front of two
storeys with three pairs of 2-light casements, The ground floor has four
windows, all 2-light casements under plank weatherings. Porch to left of
centre has a lean-to tiled roof and is glazed to the front. Framing: three
rectangular panels high with triangular corner braces. The later gable-end
truss has three struts to the collar and V-struts in the apex. Interior has
chamfered ceiling beams moulded in the later pert.
