Farmhouse. Early C17 with some mid-C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-
frame with rendered infill partially rough cast and machine tile roof.
L-plan, limbs extending to south-east and north-east. External rubble
stack to north end of south wing. North-west front: stack to right with
attached oven. To left of two storeys with two windows, both C20 case-
ments. Entrance roughly central with tiled lean-to porch. Framing: close-
studding with mid-rail and straight tension brace to ground floor, the first
floor is three square panels high. Interior: has one moulded ceiling beam
and other with chamfers and stops. (RCHM, 3, p 12, no 4).
