Farmhouse. Probably C17 with late C19 and mid C20 extensions. Timber-frame,
rubble casing, plain tiled roof, local type external stack with detached shaft
to left. 2 storeys, 3 bays, one C20 3 light casement to ground floor left,
one 2 light to right and 2 x 2 light casements to upper storey, all roughly
symmetrically placed; entrance by central C20 ledged door. Interior: central
dog-leg staircase, probably early C18, longitudinal sub-division of ground
flor right hand side provided by unusually wide span of roof trusses. C17 -
C18 floor boards. Rear extension of mid C20 conceals frame. Thatched up till
c1939.
