Farmhouse. C17 with C19 alterations and additions. Timber-framed, with
brick infill, some brick replacement walling and refacing, some sandstone
rubble walling, tiled roofs. Hall and cross-wing type plan, main part of
2 structural bays with hearth and brick ridge stack to left bay; 2 bay
cross-wing at south gable end and single bay extension to north gable end.
2 storeys with attic and cellar to cross-wing; square framing evident at
first floor level; irregular fenestration; main part has one ground floor
and 3 first floor casements; cross-wing gable end has a ground and first
floor casement, an attic light and cambered head planked door to cellar;
north gable end extension has a ground floor casement between 2 planked
doors and 2 skylights.
