Shown on OS map as Upper Tundridge Farmhouse. House. Early C19 rebuilding
of earlier house on site. Mainly painted brick and some sandstone rubble
walling, roughcast to attic storey; tiled roofs and 3 brick chimney stacks
with grouped, diagonal shafts and oversailing cap courses. Cottage ornee
style. 2 storeys, attic and cellar; multi-gabled roofline, all gables
having pierced bargeboards and finials. H-shaped plan; windows are multi-
paned cross casements with attic lights. Entrance elevation to side of
south wing: 2 storeys with 2 gabled attic dormers; 3 bays with projecting
central gabled porch, the first floor of which is roughcast and slightly
jettied on a moulded bressummer with a casement window; beneath is an
arched doorway with a half-glazed timber door.
