Small house. Early c17 with late C18 - early C19 extension and C20 alterations.
Timber-framed with brick end gable, partially bricked at sill level, brick and
lath and plaster infill, slate roof. 2 bays with later third bay and brick
extension added to left, former end stack now enclosed with entrance to left of
stack. Front elevation: one storey and attic. Framing: 3 panels high with
short braces to posts in top panel, altered framing in lower left bay; renewed
C20 fenestration; 3 windows to ground floor and 2 dormers; C20 door; central
stack and oven brickwork projecting to right of door. Framing at rear largely
complete. Interior has huge inglenook fireplace with bread oven.
