Early C19 house. Stuccoed. Low-pitched slated hipped roof with wide eaves. 2
storeys. 1st floor 3 casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. Ground floor
verandah with glass roof on iron trellised supports with connecting ornamental
arches and 2 French windows with horizontal glazing bars and louvred shutters,
and central glazed and panelled door.

The Cottage, St Michael's, Ankerdine House,Rutland Lodge and South Parade House
with gate piers north west form a group.
