north-east of Sandtoft
Grange Farmhouse

GV II

Cartshed and tack room. Early C19 with later C19 extension to east. Brown
brick with pantile roofs. Rectangular on plan, with entrances to north,
earlier western section with tack room to west and rear outshut. Single
storey. Earlier section of 5 bays: tack room to right has central door
flanked by single windows, all beneath segmental arches and boarded over at
time of resurvey; cart-shed section to left with rounded brick piers
carrying timber wall plate; wider pier to left end. Lower 4-bay range set
back to left with similar piers. Not fully investigated. Part of an early
C19 farm complex. Included for group value.
