Threshing barn. Early C19, re-using medieval masonry. C20 sliding doors
and roof. For Yarborough Estate. Limestone rubble and ashlar; brick-faced
plinth to east side; part rendered to right return. Brick blocking to north
entrance. Asbestos roof. Rectangular on plan, with opposed entrances.
Single storey, 4 bays. Ashlar quoins. East side: plinth, full-height
waggon entrance with chamfered jambs, timber lintel and pair of board
sliding doors; single slit vent ot left, pair of vents to right. Blocked
pitching hatch above right with lintel at eaves level. North side has
blocked entrance beneath timber lintel, containing C19 2-fold board door
beneath segmental arch and pitching hatch above. Included for group value.
