Cottage, possibly part of former hall-house. Early C16, altered in C18 and
C20. Timber-framed with red brick ground floor and weather-boarded first floor.
Plain tiled roof, hipped to right with gablet, half-hipped to left. Two storeys
irregular fenestration of one window on both floors, with pair of French case-
ments at entrance left. Tall red brick stack on projecting chimney breast on
right-hand return front. C20 bay added in left-hand return front. Entrances
in right-hand return front, with glazed door to left of chimney breast and half-
glazed door to right in small catslide outshot.
