Cottage and Attached Barn to
S of Rose Cottage

Cottage and attached barn. Late C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed limestone
rubble with gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof with stone gable end and ridge
stacks. Two storeys, two bays with single bay barn. 3-light flush mullion windows
either side of blocked, off-centre doorcase. To west, C19 single storey addition
with door to east. Above, two shallower delight flush mullion windows. Fenestration
four pane sashes or fixed windows below, above mostly two pane casements. Attached
to west, barn with door,and single light window to east. Above hayloft opening
with plank door.
