House. Late C18, altered and extended early-mid C19. Colourwashed roughcast, dentil brick eaves, C20 interlocking tile roofs, brick chimney to right of original block. Tall three storey C18 block of three bays to left, with lower three storey extension of c1840 to centre of range, and lower bay possibly of later date to right. Left bays have boxed three-pane sashes with keyblocks, the second floor windows square. Ground floor left window altered mid C19 to a semicircular bay window with three three-pane sashes. To centre of this block is a six-panelled top-lit door with two spreading segmental stone steps and a late C19 lean-to hood on wooden brackets. Two bays to centre of range have boxed four-pane sashes, with square windows to top floor. Right bay is blind and has single-storey outbuilding attached to right. Home of poet Thomas Moore for one year, 1812-13.
