Early C19 in the style of Decimus Burton. 2 storeys stone of irregular shape.
Slate roof. 3 open pediments with brackets. Windows are cambered single or
3-light sashes. Range of 2 storeys with slate roof and 5 sashes to the right
hand side. Adjoining to the right again is a stable block of ashlar with pediment
of 1 storey. Hipped slate roof and Sash windows.
Blackhurst and the lodge to Blackhurst form a group.
