House. C17 or earlier. Timber framed and weather boarded, clad in red brick on
ground floor (much C20 in character, with some probably C17 English Bond to rear
right elevation), and tile hung on return elevations. Plain tiled roofs. Two storey
and garret main range, gable end to roadside, with half-hipped roof. One storey and
attic wing to right with large dormer and central stack cluster. Outshots to right
of both wings. Wooden casement on each floor of main range, leaded on ground floor,
with mullioned 2 light leaded window on right return, and 2 wooden casements in
right hand wing. Left return with catslide outshot with skylights and with 2 wooden
casements on ground floor. Present main entry by C20 rib and stud door in rear of
right hand wing.
