II
House. C17 or earlier clad C18. Timber framed and weather boarded with plain
tiled roof. Two storeys with roof gabled to left, hipped to right and with stacks
to left and at end right. Three 2 light wooden casements on 1st floor, and 3
light casement to left on ground floor with half-glazed door in glazed
porch/pantile to centre right. Outshuts to left and to right with wooden
casements. Interior: Fully framed with chamfered jowled posts, all with iron
strap-ties to tie beams. Tongue stop chamfered spine beams and sandstone and
brick stack base. The end right bay with inserted floor, but the framing
indicating this was originally 1 storey open to roof, but probably not of hall
house origin.
