HAWKHURST RYE ROAD TQ 7630-7730 (south side) Highgate 17/427 Zan Restaurant and 'Miss Margarets' GV II Shops. C18 and early C19. Timber framed and weather-boarded on painted brick ground floor/basement. Three storeys with central stacks and garret, with 3-storey canted bay on gable end, with sashes and glazing bar sashes to ground floor with central glazed door. Small sash to garret. Right return with irregular fenestration of 2 wooden casements, single and tripartite glazing bar sash of second floor, single and tripartite glazing bar sash, tripartite sash and C20 oriel on first floor, and single storey multi-pane shop extension on ground floor.
