GV II
House. C18. Red brick and slate roof. Two storeys and attic with hipped roof
and central pedimented projection, with stacks to left and to right. Venetian
window in pediment, and 4 glazing bar sashes to first floor, with glazing bar
sashes to left and to right on ground floor and panelled door to right of centre,
the central projection with large multi-pane window. The unbalanced disposition
of the facade may indicate an earlier core. The building is divided between
Benenden and Hawkhurst Civil Parishes and is also listed only under Benenden Civil
Parish, where it is fully described.
