metres south east of
Bedgebury Park House
GV II
Garden urn. C18 on C19 base. Stone on granite base. Bell shaped base. Bowl
with fluting and lion masks, enriched with interlaced vines and bunches of grapes,
and with antique heads. The arms formed of strange interlocking growths, perhaps
roots or stems. Set at the base of an originally formal descent from the garden
terraces attached to the house.
