House. C16 and early C18. Timber framed and weather boarded on red brick base with
plain tiled roof. Two storeys with moulded wooden eaves cornice to roof half hipped
to right. Stacks to left and to rear right. Two 3 light wooden casements on first
floor and projecting ground floor with 2 canted bays and central boarded door with
flat hood on brackets. Rear wings reported to be older framed structure, the front
range added (to rear and to adjacent Laburnam Cottage) early C18, the left hand
stack dated:
1701 or 1707
