Terrace row. Circa 1840. Stock brick, part rendered, with slate roof.
Three storeys and basement, with rendered base, cill band and moulded
cornice to parapet with stacks to left and to right. Two sashes with
vertical glazing bars to each house (6 bays in all) on first and second
floors, with painted reveals and heads. Larger single sashes on ground
floor, with panelled and half-glazed doors with rectangular fanlights,
that to number 21 with margin light tracery. Basement openings below
ground floor sashes, no. 21 with glazing bar sash, and with flush
footscraper by door. No. 21 linked by C20 passageway to Cavendish Villas
to left (item 13 & 9/78).
