Pair of cottages of Cl8 appearance but possibly with older, timber framed core.
Each 2 storeys, 2 windows. Tiled roof with centre ridge stack. First floor
tile hung and painted. Ground floor rendered (Tanners Cottage) and painted
(Yew Tree Cottage). Modern square paned casements. Yew Tree Cottage has C19
panelled door in trellised porch. Tanners Cottage has plain door in grooved
doorcase under small bracketed hood.
The Post Office, Nos 1 to 9 (consec) (Park Place Cottages) Glencot, Yew Tree
Cottage and Tanners Cottage, Southdown house, its garden wall and Southdown
Cottage form a group.
