Row of late C18 cottages. 3 storeys. Eaves and gutter. Ridge tile roof
with 4 ridge stacks. No 83, to extreme left and slightly recessed, of
2 storeys with random stone plinth, ground floor red brick, and 2nd floor
rendered. Tile roof, hipped to left. Sash window on ground floor
and sliding casements on 1st floor. Nos 85 to 93 with red brick
elevation, part of which has been covered with cement slurry. 5 square
projecting bay windows, unevenly spaced, and carried up 2 storeys. 2
bays to left with rendered fronts and large glazed windows on ground
floor with square paned casements above. 3 bays to right with red brick
fronts on ground floor and rendered fronts above. Square-paned
casements on both floors. Flat leaded roofs to all 5 bays. 2 pairs of
coupled cottage doors under flat segmental brick arches. Nos 91 and 93
with single doors beside projecting bays. 2 pairs of coupled cottage
doors under flat segmental brick arches. Nos 91 and 93 with single doors
beside projecting bays. 2nd floor with 5 sliding casements, widely and
unevenly spaced.
Nos 73 to 93 (odd) form a group.
