ROCHESTER PRIESTFIELDS TQ 76 NW 2/205 Nos 1-47, Cupola in centre court, Foord Almshouses Nos 48-64, 1-47 24-10-50 GV II* Central Cupola tempietto in centre of courtyard of Nos 1-47 Foord Almshouses. 1927 by E Guy Dawber. Stone, wood and copper. Circular and octagonal on plan, single storey with dome; paired Tuscan Doric columns at angles, entablature and frieze broken forward above with attached cartouche coats of arms, bell profile conical roof. Statue of Flora (?) by Ernest Gilick now in forecourt of Foord Almshouses Nos 48-64 was formerly on apex of dome.
