Mill owner's house and attached mill to rear. Early C18 with later alterations
and extension to left with initials and date JW Esq 1863, for Jacob Wakefield,
on gable. Roughcast render over rubble with protruding through stones in gable
and quoins to extension; 2 string courses; graduated greenslate roof with 2 end
chimneys, that on right with protruding stack. 3 storeys, 3 windows, irregular:
ground floor late C19 sashes with glazing bars, 1st floor C20 casements, 2nd
floor 2 C20 top hung and one C19 sash to left. Central 6-panelled door in
segmental opening under C19 gabled porch with trellis support and decorative
barge-boards. Mill has complete working mill wheel and machinery.
