14/35 Bower House Inn
with area walls

8.9.67 II

Inn; dated 1751, with initials J.A., on door lintel. Later additions and
alterations. Wet-dashed rubble. Graduated slate roof with stone ridge and
rendered chimneys. 'T'-shaped plan; 2 storeys, 5 bays. Plank door in
monolithic stone, corniced porch; 2 sashes to left, one to right, and 4 above,
all with glazing bars. Low wet-dashed area walls with chamfered coping,
extending to either side of porch.
