14/91 Penny Bridge

Bridge over River Crake. C16 (VCH Lancs Vol.VIII). Later widening of late
C18, early C19, or possibly rebuilding. Stone rubble later coursed rubble
parapets. 3 wide segmental arches with low triangular cutwaters to both
sides. Straight parapets have upright coping stones. Part of this item is
in Colton C.P.
