2 houses. C17 or early C18. Roughcast with slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays; 1st
bay breaks forward and 2nd, 4th and 5th bays have jettied 1st floors, all under
straight eaves, bracketed to 3rd bay. Most windows have small-paned fixed
glazing with upper opening lights. 1st bay has window with bull's eye panes,
with paired windows to lst floor. 2nd bay has entrance with plain casement to
right. 3rd bay has plain casement to ground floor, no 1st floor window. 4th
bay has entrance with part-glazed 6-panel door and paired windows above. End
lateral stack. Right return has 2-storey canted bay window, sashed with
vertical glazing bars and horns; hipped roof. Methodist chapel (q.v.) adjoins
to right.
