Shop and house. Probably C18 or early C19. Roughcast with slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays. 1st bay of ground floor is sashed with vertical glazing
bars; 2nd bay has paired sashes with single glazing bars and horns; 3rd bay has
projecting shop front with top frieze and cornice. 1st floor windows have
gablets over; those to 1st 2 bays are sashed with vertical glazing bars and
horns, that to 3rd bay has paired sashes with single glazing bars and horns.
Entrance to 2nd bay has part glazed 6-panel door and gabled surround. Gable-end
stack and 2 cross-axial stacks. Left return has end bay of Minstrels' Gallery
(q.v.) attached to front angle; wide verges over steps to 1st floor of
Minstrels' Gallery; small casement window. Rear of stone, casement windows.
1st bay gabled with 1st floor entrance with sashed window to right.
