Early/mid C19 with later modifications. Facade rendered and painted white
with full height pilasters flanking facade and at sides of carriageway entrance.
Pilasters have a Belper variant of the Greek Key motif. Building has two parts.
South side 3 storeys. Four windows top floor with sill band below. Pediments
to the three 1st floor windows. Ground floor has centre door under later pedimented
canopy. North side 2 storeys (in same height elevation) 3 windows, 1st floor
with segmental pediments above. All windows, sashes with glazing bars. Ground
floor has later public house windows, these of northern part in shop front
with cornice and pilasters. Double carriageway doors to rear.
